According to him, the bill provides for mandatory disclosure in the contract rate on the loan and the effective interest rate, as well as the term for which credit is granted. Under the bill, banks should not enter a potential borrower's confusing, in particular, it should not have the understanding of the grant to receive credits.
In addition, the document defines a mortgage broker and a framework of accountability. As previously reported, the bill on consumer credit was originally planned to bring before the State Duma in the spring 2007 session.
