Company Eurokommerz announced the results of the first series of activities under the program for the promotion of factoring in Russia

The goal of this program is to promote factoring as a simple and effective tool for business development for Russian entrepreneurs. The Russian factoring market is booming, showing a doubling of annual volume. According to estimates of analysts Eurokommerz, by 2009 it will reach 70 to 90 billion dollars. One of the key obstacles to market development - is relatively low awareness of small and medium-sized businesses of factoring services and features of their use, but the situation is changing rapidly.

In general, currently in Russia, a positive image of factoring. According to their study FC Eurokommerz "(sample - 2000 respondents - managers Segment SME, selected at random throughout the Russian Federation to ensure the representativeness of) 69% of managers relate to factoring positive, 23% were not identified with the answer, and only 8% believed uninteresting factoring service. FC Eurokommerz "as a recognized market leader, has implemented a campaign designed to further popularization of factoring. To date, completed the first series of events organized Eurokommerz under this program.

The last series included a round table on which were invited journalists from Moscow, Siberia and the Urals region, Southern region and Privolzhya, as well as journalists from the Central, Western, Middle and North West regions. Roundtables were held in Moscow and St. Petersburg, was attended by 44 journalists from 26 cities of Russia. From FC Eurokommerz "events attended by President Gregory Karpovsky, Development Director Ilya Volkov and other top managers of the company. They told the participants of the factoring, the development of the Russian market, the company's development plans in selected regions of the country. Was announced the share that each region occupies in the total volume of Russian market of factoring, as well as a forecast of trends in these shares.

Gregory Karpovsky both commented on the completion of a series of round tables: "The first part of our program to popularize factoring was aimed at journalists. In our view, it is up to them in the most affected as far as factoring will be for Russian entrepreneurs to understand and accessible financial instrument. Journalists - a key component of information dissemination. What is more interest will cause the market factoring in the media, the greater popularity of factoring services to gain business. We have already had the opportunity to evaluate the positive results of the first phase of the program, and plan to continue in the future positioning of factoring as a simple, affordable and most effective tool for developing small and medium-sized businesses ".
